Three sculptures inspired by seabirds capture the force of the wind and the grace of flight; each bird turns into the wind thanks to a ball-bearing محور. Made of steel slats cut with a blowtorch, they at times evoke birds gliding between sky and sea, and at others almost human figures. The silvery slats reflect glints that recall the shimmering of the sea in the sunlight. Their base, which can be read as either a rock or a rising wave, gives the impression that the sea unfolds beneath the birds’ flight. A gradient from “saline sea” blue to white envelops the whole in a fresh, dreamlike Mediterranean aura, offering the public space forms that are both dynamic and soothing.
